16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence
This Wednesday, 25 November 2020 marks the first day of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence. Each year, from 25 November to 10 December, the 16 Days of Activism campaign calls for action against one of the world’s most persistent violations of human rights – violence against women.
The theme for 2020 is ‘Respect Women, Call it Out’ and a number of events and activities taking place online and around Bendigo. The calendar of events and list below provide a snapshot of what’s happening but the best way to stay up to date is to ‘like’ the Greater Bendigo Against Family Violence and the Centre for Non-Violence Facebook pages and follow CNV on Instagram.
We hope you are able to participate in this important movement and find the events and activities engaging and insightful.
