Material Aid

Service provided

Material aid provided includes:

• Mini food pantry with non-perishable food items,
• Occasionally garden produce, bread and toiletries.
• Free books, DVDs, some knitted goods.
• Community lunches.
• Assistance to access the Power Saving Bonus
• Tax Help

Other services include:

• – Loddon Campaspe Multiculural Services Playgroup,
• Social Connection.
• Printing services and Computer Help,
• Social singing group,
• Chatty Café.
• Community Garden (on 1 acre near Victoria Hill), Energetic Street, Long Gully. A great space for families to enjoy gardening and wide-open spaces. Garden beds available for hire.

Target population

Long Gully and surrounding residents, particularly:

• anyone experiencing hardship,
• anyone experiencing loneliness/isolation,
• multicultural groups including the local Karen population.
