Service provided
Parent Pathways is a voluntary service that provides personalised and financial support to eligible parents and carers of young children. The service offers a range of support options, including working with a mentor to find activities, services and training that meets clients’ needs.
Federally funded by the Department of Employment and Workplace Relations (DEWR) and delivered in Bendigo through CVGT Employment Services, Parent Pathways is the outcome of extensive consultations with parents and replaces the ParentsNext program.
Parent Pathways participants have access to a qualified mentor and Participation Fund (valued at up to $1,250 per year) to help them achieve their personal, employment and education goals. This fund can be used to help cover costs associated with training, licenses, equipment, or other goods and services that genuinely support and assist in their preparation for employment.
Participants attending face-to-face appointments may also be eligible to receive Engagement Support Vouchers (up to the value of $250 per year) which can be used for groceries, fuel or training expenses.
